I’ve worked inside large organizations where design decisions have to account for legacy systems, governance, multiple stakeholders, and thousands of users. I’ve also built products from zero, where there is no roadmap and sometimes no obvious answer.

That combination has shaped how I work. I can zoom out far enough to understand the ecosystem and zoom in far enough to care about the interaction someone experiences with a single button.

An unexpected part of how I design

I’m also a soccer coach. Coaching has reinforced the same habits that make product teams work: understand the environment, recognize patterns, communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and never forget the person operating inside the system.
